We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Desktop Support Engineer to join our team. As a Desktop Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing break fix support, fault diagnosis, and resolution to ensure the smooth operation of our customers' desktop environments. Your primary focus will be on delivering exceptional customer service and technical expertise.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide first/second-level contact and problem resolution for customer issues, ensuring timely and effective support.
- Collaborate with vendors to address and resolve complex antivirus (AV) issues as required.
- Maintain regular communication with customers, providing updates on issue status and resolution progress.
- Keep accurate records of reported incidents, ensuring ticket updates for effective incident management.
- Possess basic knowledge of the Mac operating system to provide support for Apple PC users.
- Install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot printers and computer hardware.
- Perform general preventative maintenance tasks on computers, laptops, and printers.
- Conduct remedial repairs on desktops, laptops, printers, and authorized peripheral equipment.
- Utilize diagnostic tools to troubleshoot network connectivity and workstation hardware/software problems.
- Demonstrate a broad understanding of IT, including networks, servers, audio/visual equipment, smart devices, and telecoms.
- Collaborate effectively within a project-based environment, exhibiting flexibility and teamwork.
- Fulfill any other duties as assigned.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract

**Salary**: €2,700.00 - €2,800.00 per month

- Cremona, Lombardia: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
