The STS Export Control Coordinator is the unique point of contact for all STS Solution Domains and Simcenter teams concerning Export Control questions
- Contributes to the implementation of the Export Control regulations within STS and ensures accurate and consistent distribution of relevant information to all stakeholders in the STS Solution Domains
- Coordinates Export Control Classification work with the BOM (Bill of Material) owners in the STS Solution Domains
- Coordinates, on behalf of STS, with the DI SW Legal Export Control and Compliance teams on all Export Control aspects
- Communicates with STS suppliers on Export Control aspects; ensures that Supplier Classification Forms are compliant for all STS products
- Works with product developers to assess if a specific classification or export control review is needed
- Executes internal audits concerning Export Control in the Solution Domains; performs and records periodic Export Control spot checks, and works with Solution Domains teams to remediate identified issues
- Monitors and ensures implementation of corrective actions derived from external and internal reviews and audits
- Works closely with OSS coordination team
- Demonstrates understanding of US, EU and APAC Export Control regulations
- Confirms the correctness and completeness of Export Control documents
- Assesses Export Control risks and optimizes export control internal procedures, processes and systems
- Capable of working and influencing remotely and across country boundaries

To be part of the team, you will need strong written and verbal communication skills as well as project management, including analytics, metric measurement and continuous monitoring expectations and deliverables.

Additionally, you will need the ability to communicate, negotiate, influence, and implement changes within the business, working and influencing remotely and across country lines.

Preferred knowledge, skills, education and experience:

- Master's or similar higher-education degree
- Strong understanding of the Software industry
- Experience working with ERP systems (i.e. SAP, Oracle, other)
- Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office
- Understanding of Siemens Internal Control Program, a plus
