IRCCS San Raffaele Scientific Institute in Milan, Italy, is looking for a Research Technician to join the Autoimmunity and Vascular Inflammation Unit directed by Prof. Angelo A Manfredi at Division of Immunology, Transplantation and Infectious Diseases. The main research focus of this unit is the identification of molecular mechanisms that lead to the perpetuation of the inflammatory response and autoimmunity.

**Main activities**:
Contribution to several research projects focused on blood cells (and it derivate) interactions;
**Molecular biology techniques**: cloning, transformation, PCR, RT-PCR;
**Cellular biology techniques**: cell cultures, flow cytometry, cell culture, mitochondrial function;
Helping with maintaining inventory and preparation of and project-related reagents.

**Who we are looking for**:
Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical laboratory Techniques or related fields; Master’s degree is a plus;
**Key requirements are**: strong organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, ability to record and manage large data files;
Applicants should be responsible, organized, highly disciplined, self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in a collaborative research team.

**Work details**:
The position is immediately available, and the contract will be of two years;
Salary will depend on qualification and experience;
**Place of work**: IRCCS San Raffaele Hospital, via Olgettina 60, Milan, Italy.
