Job Scope
The Software Tester will provide valuable operative and documentary contribution as a member of project teams in accomplishing Software design and test activities, related to development of new instruments and improvement of existing instruments,
- through a professional, quality-driven and proactive attitude,
- with the target of building a solid Corporate know-how, in order to transfer to DiaSorin Customers the best quality and user experience in products and services
Key
**Responsibilities**:
Define, review and update software requirements (high-level and low-level) deriving from higher level requirements, from market feed-back or from regulatory/safety requirements
Review the associated software specifications
Contribute in team meetings for project planning, status and reviews
Interact with the other development areas within the Team (“Consumables", “Hardware” and “Assay Integration”), with Project Management and Device Lead, as per the joint development/improvement tasks
Manage software installations aimed at software testing activities
Edit, review, perform and document software verification/validation plans and software testing
Contribute actively to troubleshooting and bug fixing activities with the instrument Development Partners
Investigate on anomalous and/or uncommon situations
Interact with other Company functions, in order to provide team’s know-how and support to problem solving
Ensure compliance with the Code of Ethics, the Quality Management System, the Company Policies and the Corporate Procedures
Perform other duties as assigned.
Education, Experience, and Qualifications
Master's Degree in Engineering, Physics, Informatics, Mathematics
1-2 years project experience or internship in engineering
Previous experience in working with medical devices, biotechnology industry experience, software or instrumentation is highly appreciated
Basic programming or scripting skills
Knowledge change management process is appreciated
Knowledge of requirements engineering approach (nice to have)
Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) is appreciated
Experience using Microsoft Office package.
Create documentation, manuals and detailed sets of instructions
Accuracy, comprehension of technical issues
High problem-solving and decision-making capability
Effective analytical skills
Interdisciplinary thought and quality awareness
Well organized, ability to work well independently as well as part of a team
High commitment and willingness to learn
Positive, proactive and open-minded attitude
Focus on results
Fluent spoken and written Italian and English
Periodical travels may be required, based on ongoing project phases (max. typical: a few days every 1-3 months)
