We are currently looking for interns to join our Real Word and Outcome Research team based in Milan.
As an intern with IQVIA, you will actively support the development and delivery of Outcomes Research (OR) studies and analyses to help pharmaceutical companies communicate the value of their innovations to stakeholders by quantifying the economic and clinical outcomes of medical technology.
Under supervision, you will be involved in the following activities:
- Literature review to source the required inputs to projects- Support Statistical modeling and protocol development for Observational Retrospective Studies- Perform statistical analysis on IQVIA proprietary and third-party data- Support the communication of results through scientific publications and posters
Desired Skills & Qualifications- MSc degree in _Statistics/Biostatistics/Econometrics/Biomedical_ Engineering or any other related field with a _quantitative background- Strong analytical skills- Proficiency in English and Italian (both oral and written)- Excellent Microsoft Office Skills: strong skills in working with Excel spreadsheets and creating presentations with PowerPoint- Ability to use statistical software, especially SAS, is desirable- Interest in exploring Pharma/Healthcare dynamics- Ability to work in team- Good planning, time-management and organizational skills- Intellectual curiosity, flexibility and attention to details
Internship duration: six months (with internship grant) - start date April/May 2024
