For the next season, we are looking for a Head Concierge to create memorable guest experiences. The Head Concierge reports to the Front Office Manager and coordinates the Concierge team in the day-to-day operations in achieving and exceeding the hotel's objectives in terms of guest satisfaction and quality assurance.

**Main duties & responsibilities**:

- Warmly welcomes guests and visitors upon arrival and makes them feel cared for and attended to
- Coordinates all activites related to guest arrival, transportation, departure, ensuring guest luggage is carried from arrival point and delivered to room and upon departure collected from room on check out, following LQA standards;
- Ensures all guest errands are dealt with in the most efficient and timely manner;
- Handle all messages, mails and parcels for guests and also for employees, ensuring they are delivered at the appropriate time in a professional manner
- Understands customer needs and provides them with personalised solutions by suggesting activities and facilities/services provided by the hotel. Answers and redirect phone inquiries in a timely and respectful manner following LQA standards
- Mangaes the Concierge team to ensure they are always impeccabel and hiarantee a seamless service throughout, in assisting guests who need information, offering restaurant recommendations and arranging transportation, excursions etc
- Provides information about local features such as shopping, dining, nightlife, and recreational destinations
- Acts as a “liaison” between guests and all departments necessary including the kitchen, housekeeping, etc
- Is accountable for all policies and procedures related to all transactions, services and standards related to their department, in full compliance with Belmond policies & procedures.

- High school diploma; degree in hotel management or relevant field will be a plus
- Minimum 5 years of previous experience in the same role
- Fluent in English, Italian and a third language (preferably French)
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to focus attention on details and be able to organise, prioritise, and follow up
- Effective and punctual written and verbal communication in order to update relevant colleagues and department.
- Reflects integrity, both personal and professionally at all times
- Excellent emotional intelligence, interpersonal and influencing skills
- A passion for excellence
- Exceptional good taste and strong attention to detail
- A hands-on, can-do attitude
- Fluent Italian and English language skills, French is a plus
