**YOUR TEAM**
You would be working in a multicultural and multi-disciplinary group, where experts in engineering, robotics and medicine collaborate, each with their own expertise, to carry out common research.
Center for Sustainable Future Technologies at the Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia (IIT), is seeking to appoint 2 Junior Technicians that will have a key role on monitoring and implementing the activities necessary for the successful completion of the COSyET Innovation Technological infrastructure Project for which IIT is the Coordinator.
The Project aims at creating an infrastructure for the medium to high TRL development of technologies for the energy transition. The ultimate goal of the project is the technological transfer from applied research at the lab scale to pre-industrial scale.
In particular, the activity will include:
Supporting the Principal Investigator, the Infrastructure Manager and the Technologist for the implementation of the laboratories (laboratory realization, instruments technical requirements, procurement, installation of the instrumentation)
Monitoring the technical advancement and, if necessary, supporting the Principal Investigator and the Infrastructure Manager for proposing modification and new solution to make the project more effective
Supporting the operation of laboratories within the Infrastructure, taking care of:
- the maintenance furniture and lab equipment (chemical hoods, pumping systems,...)
- provide support to external maintenance personnel
- the inventory and related cataloguing
- the laboratory gas supply
- Procurement of first aid medical boxes
- Periodic check of fire extinguishers
- Management and disposal of special wastes
