Summary:
Reporting to Export Director Home & Work, the Export Manager is responsible for expanding Allegion (CISA, Bricard & Briton) presence mainly in our emerging markets such as Sub Sahara Africa and East Europe with focus on profitable and healthy growth. Responsibility includes to identify and develop both new and existing customers in geographical markets as well as new market segments.

The role incorporates all elements of sales and business development from customer relationship management, strategy development and planning, market, and competitor analysis etc.

Duties and responsibilities
- To meet and exceed budget and growth targets for Allegion market offerings
- Ensure margin and profitability is maximized across the region
- Maintain relationships with existing and new clients by regular market visits, understanding market needs and identifying new opportunities
- Develop comprehensive market overview to identify growth opportunities in existing and new markets
- Identify product and/or market opportunities to increase profitability
- Expand CISA geographical coverage ensuring representation in all significant Countries
- Develop and manage a professional distribution network across the regions ensuring clear business objectives and KPI’s are set and achieved.
- Continuously monitor the competition and market and provide feedback to the business of possible opportunities/risks
- Develop in co-ordination with Marketing colleagues, appealing marketing material that will strengthen CISA brand in the region
- Ensure market intelligence, customer needs and new product opportunities are being fed back into the business and to actively participate in related projects
- Implement and manage commercial agreements, rebates, price increases within set guidelines
- Working with cross functional teams to deliver exceptional customer experience and coordinating the resolution of customer issues to drive customer satisfaction
- Ensure accurate bookings and SIOP forecast is provided
- Maintain and utilize CRM tools for sales reporting and communicating sales activities.
- Maintain awareness of all Allegion policies, guidelines, and procedures and ensure compliance.
- Active member of the Allegion Home & Work Export team, participating in setting future strategy and direction

Key competencies
- Experience in selecting, appointing, and managing distributors
- Self-motivated with a pro-active approach to problem solving
- Ability to manage competing priorities with strict time constraints
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong customer focus
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications

**Qualifications**:

- 5+ years of experience in a commercial role
- Experience in managing key accounts within distribution
- Experience from construction industry (security products or other construction products)
- Desire to learn and understand cultures
- Must be able to travel 50-60% of time
- Well-developed interpersonal, diplomacy, communication, influencing and negotiations skills
- Sound Commercial judgement and business acumen
- A can-do attitude with the drive to deliver projects in a short time
- A team player
- Effective communication skills in English & Italian other languages will be a plus
