Here is a breakdown of what you’ll be doing:

- Styling_
- Create and style inspiring, on-brand, on-trend, editorially-relevant outfits for up to 50 products per day including all accessory and jewellery options which will entice customers and showcase our products in their best light
- Present styled rail to Deputy Online Styling Editor for approval on a daily basis. Once fully competent check own rail of styled outfits with a strong understanding of whether they will appeal to the MR PORTER customer. Styled rail should frequently feature slow selling products in outfits with little product repetition. Work towards providing contact feedback, supporting the Deputy Online Styling Editor when needed
- Work towards supporting with contact feedback and styling checks in absence of the Deputy Online Styling Editor. Help supporting the workflow to ensure daily target
- Check, review and sign off on own product images prior to going live
- Be a key support to the Deputy Online Styling Editor and Global Online Styling Editor, supporting their decisions and helping implement them within the team
- Provide support and guidance to on-set team; including assistant, photographer and models to deliver all online product imagery that accurately depicts clothing and is styled according to MR PORTER house standards
- Work with photographer and model on-set to co-direct and select best poses
- Continuously evaluate model poses, product representation and editorial / retail landscape to ensure MR PORTER are the leader for online menswear styling
- Own key areas and projects that support the business whilst maintaining core job role
- Proactive in suggesting improvements to studio processes and assist the Deputy Online Styling Editor & the Milan Studio Production Manager with implementation
- Maintain strong & up-to-date knowledge of designers, brands, trends and MR PORTER editorial
- Attend trend presentations and designer clinics where possible to ensure consistency of style and support buying strategy
- Ensure no more than 2% of your images are reshot per week, with 100% accurate product representation
- Accountable for own reshoots and coordinate as required
- Meet image deadlines for weekly uploads
- Resolve complex issues when relevant and communicate workflow status and concerns to Studio Production Manager
- Work with other members of the Studio production team to ensure the photo studio is organized and ordered
- Ensure Sample stock is not mishandled

- Provide guidance and support to styling assistants and any junior team members
- Being a key go-to person in the Milan Studio as a positive representative of the Online Styling team
- Able to meet with various departments within the business and represent the Online Styling team in a professional and collaborative manner

The type of person we are looking for:

- Significant styling experience in an editorial and luxury fashion environment
- Experience working on set and with models
- A strong and thorough knowledge of luxury designers & brands (including brand pairings)
- A real sense of runway looks and what trends are happening each season
- Strong fashion and styling sense with the ability to incorporate new fashion trends
- Able to demonstrate flair and individuality combined with awareness of MR PORTER house style & customer
- Proven experience of working in a collaborative and profe
