**WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING**

**Role and Responsibilities**:
The Proposal Manager supports sales in meetings with external stakeholders
(Clients, consultants and Partners). He/She contributes to Client’s presentation and is a key contributor to
the negotiations.

Once the tender is out, he/she manages the tender process with the support of proposal engineers. He/She empowers young engineers.

He/She draws up the planning and the budget of the Proposal, and then follows up and controls until all
proposal expenses are closed.

He/She calls meetings, tracks and monitors decisions. He/She ensures that the development of the proposal is compliant with the Management system and procedures in force.

He/She ensures that the chosen technologies and treatment lines, as well as the plant layout, are meeting the proposal strategy and the competitiveness requirements.

He/She is accountable for the timely production of all proposal deliverables as well as all necessary specific studies.

He/She defines with the relevant departments the future Execution Organization chart, the Procurement and Construction delivery strategies and the overall Project delivery schedule.

He/She benchmarks and estimates the financial value of the project (CAPEX, OPEX, NPV, cash flows and exposure) against bid evaluation criteria with the support of specific departments (financial, costing, etc)

In coordination with the Sales, he/she manages the relationships with the Construction Partners and steers the development of consistent and competitive offers.

He/She reports on all risks and opportunities, and proposes mark-ups and other mitigation strategies wherever necessary.

He/She is accountable for the preparation of all risk meetings in cooperation with relevant departments (legal one in particular).

He/She documents the Proposal and ensures a proper transfer of all Proposal files to the Execution Team once the Project is awarded.

**WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR**

**General requirement**:
7-9 years of experience in the field.

**Education Requirements**:
Master’s Degree in technical disciplines or equivalent education.

**Languages required**:
Fluent in English
French is a plus

**Required technical Skills**:
He/she has a good technical know-how/experience in the field of water treatment, wastewater, drinking water, (sludge treatment is a plus).

**Required behavior Skills**:
Good understanding of business.
He enjoys the teamwork, autonomous in organizing team activities.
Appetite for learning and for the competition.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast environment within an international context.
He/She is a project manager focused on target.
Skilled communicator at all levels of organizations, both at operational and managerial levels (with the BA and the global HQ);s company values.
He/She enjoys the challenge of the tender race.
