Intesa Sanpaolo is the banking group leader in Italy. The Group has a selected retail banking presence in Central and Eastern Europe, the Middle East and North Africa, with approximately 1,000 branches and 7.2 million customers in 12 countries. Intesa Sanpaolo is also present in 25 countries in support of its corporate customers’ cross-border business. It is looking for new qualified profiles who want to face demanding and challenging career path with the following requirements:_

**Scope and Purpose**:

- Responsible for the execution of transactions, including due diligence analysis, debt structuring, credit proposals/business committee docs/internal rating materials, negotiation/review of legal documentation, preparation of marketing materials (together with loan syndication/DCM), closing and funding
- collaborate and coordinate with other areas of the bank to ensure smooth marketing/approval processes and deal execution
- primary responsibility in monitoring and management of the credit performance of the portfolio
- maximize the cross-selling and ancillary revenue contribution from the loan commitments
- support the professional growth of junior colleagues assigned to the deal team

**Required experience**:
**Required qualifications, skills and knowledge**:

- Degree in Finance, Economics or Accounting
- Able to work in a team leading junior resources whilst carrying activities in total autonomy and to cope with high levels of pressure
- Proficient in English (spoken and written)
- Excellent knowledge of the Office package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong understanding and competency of all aspects of the leveraged finance and capital markets businesses, from origination to structuring and execution
- Strong and developed credit analysis skills and excellent understanding of credit risk profile
- Deep knowledge of cashflow financing and strong financial modelling skills
- Proven and strong skills as to credit, debt structuring, rating analysis
- Ability to analyse and conduct independent due diligence of transactions, plus identify industry/market trends
- Deep knowledge of legal and contractual features of LBO financing
- Background in preparation of marketing materials/commercial pitches to clients
