**BAT ITALY IS LOOKING FOR A Distribution Requirement Planner Executive**

**SENIORITY LEVEL**:Management

**FUNCTION**: Operations - Logistics

**LOCATION**:Rome, Italy

**ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES**

The job holder should be able to work in a very "dynamic" and “demanding” environment with a high level of autonomy (in carrying out activities and providing results) being efficient (example in terms of timing and accuracy) and supporting the DRP Manager FMC in the daily activity.

Ensure that BAT Supply Chain process is applied to ensure right levels of finished goods, delivering cost efficiencies & contribute on business targets while complying to all applicable standards.

Correct and precisely use of BAT system to ensure a proper stock movement (eg. KINAXIS for the forecast, SAP, Office pack for file management and presentation, etc ) including financial reporting (ie stock value, write-off analysis, destruction cost, 3rd parties cost analysis, etc )

The job holder has to be in charge of building/maintaining good relations with end market and above market teams.

He/she reports to the DRP Manager FMC and must act as deputy in** **case of absence of the DRP Manager FMC for the key task.

Missing production if the systems are not updated correctly and accordingly to re regional guideline

**Other**: Cross function team collaboration HQ in Rome (Marketing, Supply Chain, NPI and Finance) and Operation (SNO, Factories)

**PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES**:
**Operation/Professional/Business**
- Support the management of the Supply Chain budgets and supporting the various operations savings projects.
- Ensure robust product planning to meet sales demand on-time -in full and report all the information related to the SOPs scenarios in KINAXIS and other mandatory Supply Chain tool
- Coordinate 3rd party teams to ensure data readiness example actual data, commercial out of stock, etc.
- Support the administration task related to Supply Chain FMC-OTP, like providing support for the budget process
- Support the BAT Italia Warehouse manager in ensuring that all information regarding the monthly activities are delivered especially with regards H1 and YE.
- Support day by day activities including ad-hoc request from Marketing/NPI teams
- Provide to line manager timely information on possible criticality/delay related the finish goods arrival/shipment.
- Proactively collect information from different data sources and assembly/combine them to produce value added analysis in response to business or line manager needs
- Follow the finish goods in quality inspection and provide feedback to the line manager
- Problem solving attitude
- Challenging spirit in order to unleash the potential supply chain team and bring innovation on current WoW
- Proactive and effective engagement of Internal & external stakeholders to deliver business objectives.

**Management & Relationships**
- Encouraging teamwork and flexibility.
- Guarantee that there are viable and efficient control systems in order to ovoid commercial out of stock or overstock.
- Contact all relevant teams to ensure that the targets were reached
- Effective relationship with internal customers/supplier like distributor, supplier, HQ in Rome (Supply Chain, Marketing, Finance, Tax, etc), Factory, etc

**ADDITIONAL INFORMATION**

**Essential Requirements**:

- More than 2 years of experience in Supply Chain / Operations / Production
- Good People Leadership & Management skills
- Strong conceptual and analytical skills - enjoys problem solving
- Excellent consulting, communication, and engagement skills, coupled with the ability to transmit complex messages in an understandable way.
- Financial what-if analysis.

**Skills**:

- Communicate at different levels and context
- Ability to promote the culture of continuous improvement
- Ability to work with cross functional teams
- Ability to make/recommend timely decisions, solution-oriented, ability to challenge status quo
- Be assertive and willing to escalate issue if necessary
- Work in a competitive/dynamic and continuous improvement environment
- Previous experience with KINAXIS / SAP would be preferable
- Proactive - taking initiatives
- MBA or master’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field
- Experience with S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning)
- Good English (spoken and written)

**Experience**:

- Experience from the FMCG industry is considered an advantage, but not a requirement
