As a Shop Operator, you will develop manufacturing technology and realize new products and systems. You will set up, monitor, and operate various piece of equipment associated with the manufacturing facility requirements -rewind, tapeline, packager, tape/braider, magline, plastic extruder, PCP injection. You could also include repair, patching or splicing cable, performing quality assurance activities as required by manufacturing/engineering specifications and ISO requirements.

As a Shop Operator, you will be responsible for:

- Managing new assembly of Safety (SV) and Safety Relief Valves (SRV) according with assembly instructions coming from the US Design Authority
- Setting and Testing SV’s and SRV’s with water, air and steam valves for Consolidated Safety and Safety Relief Valves according with the testing procedures coming from the US Design Authority
- Performing pressure tests on components using high pressure water (hydrotest)
- Being skilled and trained to work in Severe environment (steam plant) according with the HSE procedure
- Managing inventory management, customer training, and focusing on building and maintaining mutually beneficial relationships with product divisions.
- Performing measurements with: torque wrenches, dial calipers, micrometers, and dial indicators
- Completing preventative maintenance on department equipment
- Operating forklift truck or using hand-truck to move, convey or hoist shipments from receiving to storage or work area
- Comparing and identifying information and count, weigh or measures items of incoming shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders or other records
- Unpacking and examining incoming shipments, rejects damaged items / goods, records shortages, and corresponds with shipper to rectify damages and shortages
- Locating materials according to the procedures or moving to manufacturing areas and, where requested, update and keep clean inventory records
- Reading, understanding and executing weekly or daily picking schedule and, if needed, print pick lists and/or work orders
- Picking up materials from inventory according to pick list and/or wip jobs paying attention to be accurate and keep all items protected
- Assembling work orders from stock and placing orders on pallets, boxes or shelves, and convey orders to production areas
- Using applicable check-list to document inspection activities and product acceptance
- Issuing Non conformity report in case of failures
- Working in physical inventories and inventory reconciliation exercises to meet overall inventory accuracy goals
- Ensuring proper transactions are executed throughout the process to drive inventory integrity

**Fuel your passion**

To be successful in this role you will:

- Hold a Technical high school diploma or relevant related working experience
- Show relevant experience in Safety Valve Assembly / receiving / warehouse environment
- Hold a EU work permit
- Be fluent in Italian and show basic knowledge of English
