**POSITION OVERVIEW**

In support of the Naval Medical Research Unit (NAMRU) 3 provide support and assistance. Assist with the accomplishment of administrative, technical, and programmatic tasks on various Navy/Marine Corps projects.

**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Provide recommendations to the Government regarding the development and implementation of comprehensive public affairs campaigns to enhance the general public's understanding of the agency's programs.
- Assist with the tracking and analyzation of input and throughput of the internal information program, media relations, and community This may include tracking number of instances and positive responses received and timing for completion of these processes.
- Assist with the dissemination of a wide range of information and data concerning the nature and objectives of NAMRU 3 programs, employing all types of media, including radio, television, newspapers, magazines, professional and scientific journals, still and motion pictures, posters, exhibits, social media and advertisements. All information, data and content shall be approved by the Government prior to dissemination.
- Assist in improving search engine optimization and general discovery of content by target groups; Analyze and report on web traffic, analytics, and
- Capture and track public sentiment and interests around the industry or product.
- Assist in the facilitation of communication between Command leadership and officials at other agencies to support the mission of NAMRU 3.
- Assist with the dissemination of a wide range of information and data concerning the nature and objectives of NAMRU 3 programs.
- Perform daily updates of and additions to the organization's website media/formats.
- Assist with Document formatting for publication and graphic design tasks.
- Utilize creative skills to provide media delivery; support the use of social media based platforms (i.e. Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram), the development and integration into NAMRU 3 systems by creating infographics and other multimedia presentations, and posting to social media platforms after Government approval is received.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:
**Required Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in media design, digital media, interactive media or a related field; 2 years of DoD experience may be submitted in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.
- 3 years of experience in multimedia design, graphic design environment.
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/JQuery.
- Proficiency with SharePoint as a platform for web hosting.
- Active Secret Clearance.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience with NAMRU
