As the Manager, EU/ EMEA Packaging, Hill's, you're at the helm of ensuring seamless design, development, and successful launch of new packaging bundles within the region. You'll provide strategic leadership, project management expertise, and resource coordination to spearhead Regional Packaging programs.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Innovation and Strategic Vision**:

- Identify, evaluate, and advocate packaging technical innovations and global design trends to foster competitive advantage.
- Stay abreast of supplier and competitor developments to leverage emerging opportunities.

**Project Management and Execution**:

- Oversee the conceptualization, development, qualification, and implementation of regional packaging initiatives, including streamlining, FTG & margin enhancement, innovation, new package development, process development, sustainability, and technology transfer.
- Drive program implementation through multifunctional teams, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.

**Team Leadership and Development**:

- Manage the EMEA & Japan Package Development Team by providing technical training, cultivating business understanding, offering coaching, feedback, and career guidance.
- Guide and prioritize team efforts in packaging system design, sustainability, ergonomics, and brand equity from initial brief to commercialization.

**Quality Assurance and Compliance**:

- Ensure packaging, processes, equipment, and specifications align with Hill’s KPIs and support Quality and EOHS Standards.
- Monitor packaging regulations in the Division/region, ensuring compliance and fostering sustainable practices.

**Documentation and Technology Transfer**:

- Ensure efficient documentation and/or technology transfer for manufacturing and engineering, facilitating effective implementation of packaging bundles/systems within the Division/Region.

**Education Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Package Engineering/Science, Food Science/Technology, or related technical field
- Preferred: Master’s Degree in Package Engineering/Science, Food Science, or an MBA

**Experience Requirements**:

- Minimum of 8 years' technical experience in global food or fast-moving consumer goods.
- Experience in people management and wet/retort food packaging (cans and pouches).
