Project Controller

What we offer:
Dematic is looking for a talented Project Controller Analyst to be hired with a temporary contract, for its premises in Cernusco Sul Naviglio or Coslada (Madrid). He/She will report to the Finance Manager Europe in order to ensure that all budgeting, scheduling and coordination processes run smoothly on the Key Project Dematic is running.

The Project Controller Analyst will be directly involved in our automated warehouse projects under the supervision of the Senior Project Controller:

- Partner with execution team: (PM, engineering, purchasing, installation) in order to mitigate/minimize potential deviations from budget and schedule to ensure financial targets are achieved
- Monitor Project Activities: continually monitor and evaluate each step of a project to ensure that it is meeting budgetary and deadline goals. Work with project managers to discuss the progress of each project and talk about staffing needs, schedule changes, project scope adjustments and more.
- Oversee Project Budgeting and Scheduling: it is up to Project Controller to assist in setting a project budget and to be involved in assembling a project’s team and setting task schedules (Resources, Time and Cost).
- Generate Project Reports: from budget to personnel training reports, Project Controller is responsible for creating and maintaining reports addressing all aspects of project development and completion.
- Support ad hoc analysis & other duties: as assigned to improve the performance of project controlling function

Your challenge in the medium term:

- Serve as financial lead for assigned portfolio with medium complexity

Who are we looking for?
- Knowledge of Project Management basis
- Have a real passion and enthusiasm for deal management in complex project
- Bachelor or Master degree in economics or management engineering
- 2/3 years of previous experience as controller for automation turn key project or plant producing business
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Fluent in English and Italian or Spanish
- Proactivity
- Available for short business travels
