ATC ERTMS DESIGNER - ETCS TRACKSIDE SEGMENT - RAILWAY SIGNALLING DOMAIN
Job location:
Bologna area (Florence Quest National Head Offices or remote working as alternative options)

Role Overview
The selected resources - acting as part of an agile team aimed at giving a qualified support to the Engineering Dept. within a complex, structured environment with high pitchedprofessional standards - will contribute to the development of ATC system architecture, trackside and trainborne, defining and allocating requirements, evaluating design trade-offs, balancing technical risk, defining and assessing interfaces, keeping close coordination with Verification & Validation activities and with project deployment activities, in line with the system roadmap.
The job requires a broad understanding and skills in systems engineering and ability to work transversally with engineering teams.

**Responsibilities**:

- Design ATC system and provide related documents (specification, architecture, interface, etc);
- Actively support ATC Design Reviews;
- Investigate the Verification and Validation (V&V) test failures for corrective actions.

Background, qualifications and desired experience:

- BSc / MSc Degree in Engineering (Electronic / Electrical / ITC / TLC or similar field);
- minimum 3 to 10 years' experience in Railway Signalling System Engineer role (ERTMS background would be preferential).
