Country Accounting

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE
- excellent knowledge of the measurement, processing and communication of financial information regarding economic entities, which aims to document the organizations’ resource management
- excellent knowledge of Accounting Principle and financial reporting rules, standards and manuals, along with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- advanced knowledge of how to assess, analyse and mitigate risks, deep analytical review to investigate fluctuation in our business environment and drive optimisation and Balance sheet reconciliation and cleaning process
- excellent knowledge of how to plan, measure financial records in compliance with internal and external regulations and ensuring value for money in reaching business objectives and long term profitable growth
- advanced knowledge of how to create and implement change initiatives and manage stakeholders
- good knowledge of project management processes including methods and tools; and how to integrate them
- clearly defines goals and expectations
- challenges existing ways of doing things
- adapts quickly to changing circumstances and deviations from plans
- acts as a role model for IKEA values through behaviours and actions and Manages dilemmas and challenging situations
- creates an atmosphere that inspires the team to deliver business results
- Recognises the value of people with different skills, cultures and backgrounds
- Good knowledge of English and local language
- Previous experience in leading groups

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
- lead the development of the team based on the global finance, organisational and people development direction to secure the right competences, performance and succession
- develop, implement and continuously improve effective and efficient Accounting & Reporting processes and routines
- manage the accuracy and productivity of day-to-day activities
- secure that the team members are working according to the A&R manual as well as local GAAP
- support the team with specific accounting and reporting related questions
- support relevant functions as a trustful and professional business partner in Accounting & Reporting matters with the aim to offer the customer a seamless shopping experience
- contribute the business plan process and set clear goals and action plan together with the team in alignment with the business plan and function goals
- coordinate and/or support internal and external audit, review and follow up on audit findings and recommendations
- contribute to local and global projects from Accounting &Reporting perspective
- secure and maintain a connection with and between core areas, business owners, group functions, process teams within the Ingka Group
- secure cross-organisational readiness and continued business growth in terms of competence, performance and succession through enabling an end-to-end approach
- ensure a safe environment for co-workers and external consultants and contractors in accordance with Ingka policies
