Are you willing to use your knowledge and experience to help Sciex attending events in EMEA?

The Event Coordinator is responsible for overseeing, managing and executing marketing event plans in different regions in EMEA, working closely with marketing campaign managers, digital marketing and regional sales teams.

This position is part of the Marketing Department and will be located in Italy or Poland ( Remote ).

**In this role, you will have the opportunity to**:
Work with internal and external partners to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of events

Plan (small and medium) internal and external seminars, conferences or tradeshows and lead cross-functional team calls to ensure smooth planning and execution of events

Coordinate and execute logistics including booth building and equipment, meeting planning, housing, personnel assignment/roles/registration, equipment, vendor management, show services, lead collection etc.

Support regional sales teams with development, implementation and tracking of local events plans

Manage inventory of event material and order of giveaways and collateral required for the events

Manage and track event results and budget to ensure best ROI

Manage external vendors to oversee contract negotiations, space planning or other event services

**The essential requirements of the job include**:
University (or equivalent) level education, ideally in marketing or a related field

Minimum 2 years’ experience in managing events of various sizes, ideally in the B2B sector

Very good command of English, other languages are an advantage

Proficiency in MS-Office

Ability to travel for about 25% of the working time in Europe

**It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in**:
Proven track record of managing and executing successful events independently

Very strong project management skills with proven ability of planning, organizing, and prioritizing multiple complex assignments and projects simultaneously

Experience with negotiating and managing third party vendors
