**Job Purpose**:
Generates a pipeline of profitable sales of trade products by creating, securing and monitoring tight specifications for professional specifiers contributing to enhanced sales
development.

**Key Activities & Accountabilities**:

- Create market awareness on AkzoNobel products and services.
- Regularly Visit existing and potential specifiers to guide the prescription of AkzoNobel brands and technical and chromatic solutions within specifications.
- Identify, plan and develop new customers within specific area
- Identify, concrete and alternative contact channels / potentials, and select, carry out projects of cultural and social orientation, such as research on the colors of the architectural heritage, with participation in restoration projects, with priority and attention to the development of concrete opportunities for business in the area with the aim of creating Akzo Nobel product demand in an innovative way
- Initiate and negotiate tailor made actions and specifications, discuss with customers or dealers, deliver product trainings to customers
- Prescribe suitable specifications that will “delight” the customer and drive growth to proactively grow the category and share of wallet.
- Plan, organize, implement, manage and monitor activities in the area of competence, integrating the activity with area consultants and colleagues in the area: Agents, Technical Assistants and with the distribution network of the local area
- Collect, organize and manage the data relating to all the activities carried out, share the information with the sales force to increase possibility to find concrete opportunities avoiding lose them.
- Effective project tracking and reporting on project pipeline/leads, tracking, during sales and after-sales, market trends
- Systematically up-dates CRM with valid, accurate and complete customer-related information

**Key Responsibilities**:

- To source new business through a process of specification up to point of sale
- Accurate project forecasting, reporting and pipeline documentation
- Customer retention, acquisition and loss
- Direct contact with customers in the field, representing AkzoNobel in a professional manners
- Customer Satisfaction
- Gets familiar with all applicable corporate as well as site policies/procedure with regards to personal conduct/HSE standards and acts in compliance with all regulations.

**Job Requirements**:

- Diploma or Bachelor Degree in architecture, engineering, surveyor or related field.
- Knowledge and experience in the building paint market and its distribution /sales network
- Knowledge of the restoration / construction
