**About You and this Role**

**Key Objectives**

For the Commercial Legal function your focus will be on
- structuring, reviewing, revising and negotiating both strategic framework agreements and transactional documents with customer and partner prospects. Supporting the continuous improvement of standard form agreements, playbooks, contract templates, and legal processes;
- marketing support with a focus on regional vendor contracts and privacy;
- (within your broader regional responsibilities you will also) provide (first) point of contact support for non-revenue contract related legal issues (e.g. employment agreements, leasing and purchasing agreements etc.) and assist in the establishment and roll-out of company-wide policies with respect to general compliance matters;
For the Privacy function you will
- support our continuous enhancement and implementation of our global privacy program;
- serve as an emergency contact for the incident response team

**Required Qualifications**
- 3+ years of working experience
- Degree in Law
- Effective oral and written negotiation skills
- Strong financial and business acumen

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Understanding of common software development and business models and related legal topics in Liferay’s industry;
- Understanding of major international data protection and privacy frameworks. Certifications such as CIPP are a plus
