We are looking for a Managing director (Dirigente) of an Italian manufacturing company - subsidiary of an international acting family group of companies operating in the steel, wire, mesh and screening industry.

**ROLE’S MISSION**

The role is responsible for defining and implementing, together with the management team (Managers and Shareholders), the strategies necessary to achieve the company goals and business development objectives, ,s well as coordinating the direction and control of all company activities to ensure budget achievement, supervising the daily manufacturing operations and directing sales.

**TASKS**:

- Defines business strategies and objectives and plans and implements related activities;
- Draws up business plans aimed at the business development of the company, defining its strategy and supporting the development of key customers
- Leads the Sales organization by providing advice on sales strategy and approach in order to continue the development of the business and improve sales processes and methods
- Ensures the availability of resources necessary to achieve the company's objectives (technical, production, human, etc.);
- Together with the Finance Manager, sets budgets, forecasts and periodically assess the subsidiary’s financial performance and take appropriate actions accordingly, ensuring the implementation of management control and periodic reporting;
- Coordinates and optimizes the operational activities of the various teams reporting directly to him/her;
- Implements key policies, objectives and initiatives defined by the group;
- Ensures compliance with Environmental and Safety Legislative requirements and the Certified Environmental Management System;
- Authorizes the issuance of the Quality Manual and Procedures, training programs and Internal Audit programs;
**THE IDEAL CANDIDATE**:
**Must Have**:

- Industry Background: +5 years of experience in a similar role in a SME or Managing Function (e.g. Sales Director/COO) in a complex industrial oraganization ideally gained in companies belonging to the same relevant industry;
- Cultural Background: Engineering or Technical Studies with commercial & administrative training (or added on the job);
- Soft Skills: perceived leadership, strategic thinking, business mind, sales orientation, coaching aptitude;
- Italian and English fluent.
