**_ Engineering Director _**:
**_In this role you will _**
- Fully accountable for all engineering activities on-site including Capital Projects, Engineering Validation, Utilities, Automation and Facilities operations and maintenance and Production Engineering.
- Ensure the fundamentals of Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS), product quality and product supply is embedded across all areas of engineering.
- Ensure Engineering is a key component of all value stream activities.
- Define and deliver engineering key performance indicators to ensure the site is able to perform as a best in class Fast Moving Consumer Healthcare (FMCH) Site.
- Actively participate as a member of the Site Leadership Team working with the team to set a direction for the Site that ensures Aprilia remains a valued part of the CH Supply Chain.
- Develop and implement an Engineering Strategy aligned to the Site strategy and role. This will include ensuring Site Engineering costs are aligned to best in class for FMCH Sites.
- Develop solid technical capability in all areas of engineering across the Site. Ensure this is based on the business needs, technical capability and people development plans.
- Responsible for the Site Masterplan and subsequent Capital Plan which ensures the facility is compliant (base spend), and invests for Service, Value, Quality, Safety and sustainability. Ensure investment model is aligned to financial ambition for best cost to customer.
- Ensure Global Engineering Standards are in place and in use against an agreed implementation plan to enhance compliance within engineering.
- Ensure compliance with Haleon and Local Regulatory policies, procedures and regulations.
- Champion the Site sustainability programme covering energy consumption and water management.
- Maintain Highly Protection Risk status for the Site with Axa Xl.
- Champion excelence across Elec Safety, Process Safety, Machinery Safety and Hazardous Utilities.
- Champion implementation of our Continuous Improvement culture and deployment of our HAPS program (Haleon Performance System)

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Strong communication, influencing and relationship building skills. Able to act as an ambassador and role model for engineering across all levels of the Site and above site and in the local Community.

- Working across functional boundaries and modelling the ways of working that will be critical for the creation of high-performance value streams
- Influential at SLT Level and contributing to the wider site strategy, can lead the engineering agenda to deliver the site strategy and performance
- Embrace and deliver major change programmes that deliver value to the Site and Supply Chain
- Fully accountable for all engineering activities across Site including Facility and Utility management, Capital Management, Automation and Production Engineering.
- Ensure the following are in place and in use:

- Engineering compliance plan that considers all International, National, Local and Haleon regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Performance Management ensuring the foundations in EHS, Quality and Supply are sound.
- Performance Management ensuring the Site is a best-in-class FMCH Site and adds value to Haleon.
- Site Masterplan (5-year horizon) and associated Capital Plan (60-month horizon).
- Personal Development Plans for all members of the Site Engineering community.
- Active member of the Site Leadership Team helping to set a direction for the Site that is aligned to the needs of the Supply Chain and Haleon.
- Role will require a significant amount of change management within Engineering and across the broader Site as part of the Site Leadership Team.
