Ruby is a fast-growing hospitality group with existing hotels and workspaces in some of Europe's most exciting locations and many more projects under construction. We break new ground with our Lean Luxury philosophy, creating a contemporary and affordable form of luxury.

Join us for the opening of our first Ruby Hotel in Italy, opening its doors with 118 rooms. Ruby Bea is located in the Tuscan capital Florence, directly on Piazza della Líberta in the northern part of the historic city centre. The old town district of San Marco, with its world-famous museums and botanical gardens is also just a 10-minute walk away. The hotel is being built in a historic building from the 19th century and - in addition to the typical Florentine arcades on the ground floor - offers exceptional high ceilings, allowing for some of the rooms to be designed as maisonettes.

**Duties and responsibilities that will excite you at Ruby, as you will be**:

- performing flawless, neat painting and varnishing work throughout the hotel
- carring out silicone work in the shower and bathroom areas
- in regular communication exchange with the Hotel Manager, the Head of Housekeeping or the Head of Service about upcoming works
- responsible for the purchase of necessary materials in consultation with the Hotel Manager.

- a completed apprenticeship as a painter (M/F/d)
- several years of work experience in a comparable position
- good general handicraft knowledge and skills
- great knowledge of materials and colors
- a confident, authentic and loyal appearance a good command of English and Italian
