**Job Description Summary**: At Avio Aero, a GE Aviation Business unit, we’ve been reimagining the power of flight for more than 100 years. We are specialized in the design, production and maintenance of components and systems for both the civil and military aviation.

The role is focused on execution of activities within an operating discipline covered by standard functional practices and procedures.

**Essential responsibilities**
- Coordinate and expedite the flow of materials (from suppliers and also within departments) according to production schedules
- Plan and schedule material/production needs
- Owns inventory (WIP management, reduce cycle time)
- Makes and executes part number recovery plans
- Ensure operational alignment with production plan and KPIs
- Optimize inventory and process improvements
- Develop operational plan for the own department
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders such as Material Planning, Fulfillment, Engineering, Quality and Manufacturing
- Lead capacity planning (equipment/manpower) to address bottlenecks

**Qualifications/Requirements**
- Degree in Engineering or Technical High School Diploma with relevant and consistent work experience in Material Planning, Production Control, Logistics
- Deep knowledge of mechanical parts and production processes
- Ability to analyze problems, identify root causes and provide efficient solutions
- Fluent Italian and good English knowledge
- Proficiency with SAP for logistic transactions
- Work Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required

- Good organizational skills
