Ink Development Specialist

EFI is looking for an Ink Development Specialist with Textile Ink experience to join our InkJet Business Demo Centre in Bergamo, Italy.

**Responsibilities**:

- Under the supervision of our manager, you will be responsible for working directly with Internal and External customers supporting the development of existing and new formulations of Ink and Printer platforms;
- Testing inks printing properties managing multiple experiments based on product and project testing timeline;
- Troubleshooting batch quality;
- Analyze customer issues, simulating them in the Lab;
- Managing têxtile digital printing machines and laboratory equipment;
- Travel opportunities may be available.

Testing ink printing properties, within all EFI platforms, including but not limited to:

- Viscosities, Surface Tension, Particle Size, Filtration, Color;
- Mixing, Stability, Shelf life;
- Jetability, Voltage optimization;
- Fastness and Fixing;
- Print Quality;
- Identify and address any issues related to printer performance.

- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical, Textile or 3 years field related experience is preferred;
- Italian and English knowledge.
