Group Buyer

Workplace: 31033 Castelfranco Veneto TV, Italia

Our client is an important **International Group** - focus on innovation to design gardening equipment for more than 90 years, all over the world.

They are looking for a **GROUP BUYER **who will report to VP Sourcing and will be in charge of:

- Overall Supply Base Management, with focus and monitoring on Costs, Quality, Service level, and Financial strength of the suppliers
- Supply Base optimization and rationalization, on European basis mostly, with focus also in China, in some cases
- Cost reduction and budget objectives achievement

**ACTIVITIES**:

- Supply base assigned management and improvement
- Negotiation on Costs, delivery performance, Price list reduction, Payment terms
- Purchasing Marketing, and new suppliers introduction
- Benchmark on the assigned commodity, and best suppliers development
- First Orders insert and delivery plan definition
- Supplier communication management
- Communication with other departments, as quality, R&D and production and other WW divisions

**SKILLS REQUESTED**:

- University degree, or **technical background**:

- Previous experiences in other well structured and international companies are preferable
- Knowledge of Windows software, Office Package, Excel particularly
- Good Knowledge of SAP management system, is preferable
- Main productive processes, as metal stamping, plastic moulding, electromechanical components, Offset and Packaging, Printing, Fastner
- **English fluency** is required
