As our Revenue Accountant, you will be responsible for managing revenue across the group, including invoicing, month-end closings, annual audit, and accounts receivable management. Given the considerable growth year-to-date, driven in equal parts by M&A and new client wins, we are looking for an experienced Accountant to take ownership of Revenue reporting and AR management.

**Responsibilities**:

- Implement and manage revenue recognition processes in compliance with ASC 606.
- Analyze customer contracts to ensure proper recognition of revenue and adherence to accounting policies.
- Oversee billing processes for SaaS subscriptions and recovery services.
- Prepare rolling revenue forecast
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Collaborate with the financial reporting team to provide accurate and timely information for external reporting requirements
- Lead month-end close activities related to Revenue, ensuring completeness and accuracy of financial records.
- Prepare and review revenue related journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reports
- Support external audit processes by providing documentation and explanations related to SaaS and recovery business revenue recognition.
- Ensure compliance with audit requirements and address audit queries effectively
- AR management

**Requirements**:

- Part Qualified/ACCA, CIMA or ACA qualification or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of ASC 606 and revenue recognition principles.
- 3+ years of relevant experience in revenue accounting, with a focus on SaaS and recovery business.
- Experience managing month-end closing and financial reporting processes.
- Experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable management.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with principles of accrual accounting and US GAAP.
- SaaS experience is a plus (software revenue recognition, deferred revenue liability etc.)
- Very strong financial modelling / Excel skills
- Experience with accounting / payment software such as Stripe and Quickbooks
- Ability to multitask at speed, without sacrificing attention to detail
- An articulate problem solver who thinks commercially is able to break down complex problems into manageable tasks and bring it all together to articulate the findings
- 100% remote is OK but needs to be based in the UK time zone +/-1 hour and be comfortable with occasional calls on the US time zone
