General Role

The Financial Controller will be part of our Finance Department and he/she will report directly to the Financial Controlling Manager, providing day-to-day financial management. The role will involve all Financial Controlling activities for our 11 boutiques in Italy and Greece.

Main responsibilities
- Checking general accounting schedules in order to ensure that they are updated correctly and on time;
- Preparing quarterly closures for the Hermès Group in accordance with IFRS accounting standards;
- Supporting the creation of budgets and re-estimates of profit and loss accounts and perform analytical reviews;
- Managing the follow-up of the annual budget (opex and capex) and forecasts (opex and capex) with actual data;
- Monitoring and controlling personnel costs and boutique overheads;
- Always working for improvement in order to increase efficiency and reduce costs.

Profile
- Bachelor’s (required) and Master’s degree (nice to have) in Economics or similar;
- At least 2 years of experience in both accounting and administration area or controlling area;
- Excellent command of written and spoken Italian, English and Greek;
- Experience in IFRS reporting package;
- Proficiency in Excel and information systems, SAP would be an advantage;
- Methodical and logical approach;
- High level analytical skills;
- Be able to respect of deadlines and assigned tasks;
- High level inter-personal skills;
- Excellent communication skill verbal and written;
- Be able to interface with all levels of stakeholders and work with international team.
