As an Investment Associate, you will contribute to Client's success by playing an integral role in helping a fast-paced organization in a rapidly changing environment, by working across many aspects of the fund's activities, including research and financial analysis, reporting and regulatory compliance, deal execution, portfolio management, and networking. Investment Associate are assigned a broad range of responsibilities, including but not limited to:
Deal Sourcing:
Assist with sourcing new investment opportunities by performing extensive market research to help identify new investment trends, and by tracking dealflow. Due Diligence:
Support due diligence throughout the investment process, including financial, operational, and market diligence, and business plan evaluation; help coordinate relevant external service providers. Deal Execution:
Assist with end-to-end process of deal execution, including financial modeling, drafting of investment memos, board materials and other presentations, building timelines, and coordinating internal and external parties. Portfolio Management:
Support ongoing management of existing portfolio companies to help them achieve ambitious growth plans on the path to substantial value creation; monitoring and administration of the portfolio on behalf of the Client. Financial Analysis and Research:
Create complex financial models; perform valuation analysis; scrutinize financial deal terms and structure; analyze KPIs; conduct extensive industry, market and company-specific research. Strategic Thinking:
Assist in development of comprehensive business plans inclusive of growth strategies and financial performance levers; conduct detailed market sizing and competitive landscaping; create presentations with clear recommendations for senior leadership; participate in problem-solving both internally and on behalf of portfolio companies. Reporting and Compliance:
Assist building and updating various performance reports and ongoing valuation analysis as part of active monitoring of the existing portfolio, for the benefit of Client leadership, Board of Directors, LPs, and as part of regulatory compliance requirements. Fundraising:
Assist senior leadership in the future fundraising process, including performing in-depth research related to market trends/dynamics, industries and verticals, helping shape investmenttheses, and preparing marketing materials. Networking:
