This position involves heading a team in the Electrification business area in Santa Palomba, ensuring continuous and efficient production operations in line with plans, procedures, and quality and safety standards and policies. Reporting to the Production Manager you will aid in the transformation of parts and raw materials into ABB products in a timely and cost-effective manner, managing resources to meet production targets.

Production Manager

**Your responsibilities**:

- Organize and allocate resources to effectively and efficiently meet line production targets. Respond to resource issues as
- necessary. Lead capacity planning and resource optimization for the assigned unit or line.
- Ensure that production scheduling and production plan meets the volume requirements agreed in the demand plan and
- defined inventory service levels.
- Identify and recommend technical equipment and facility improvements as necessary.
- Ensure execution of volume, conforming product, and on-time delivery targets for the assigned production lines.
- Identify deficiencies in production area, proposes improvement activities, and oversee implementation of actions to
- improve production performance.
- Manage the resolution of critical product or equipment issues together with relevant internal teams.
- Ensure (with HR Manager support) that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed.
- Guide, motivate and develop direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies.

**Your background**:

- Mechanical engineering studies
- Experience of at least 5 years in a similar role
- Good knowledge of English, both written and spoken
- Strong mechanical knowledge and passion
- Excellent skills in people management and stress management
- Ability to manage people on shifts
