As a Manufacturing Planner, you will be responsible for coordinating and planning production activities to ensure timely and efficient manufacturing operations. You will work closely with various departments including production, procurement, and logistics to optimize production schedules and meet customer demand. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Developing production schedules and plans based on sales forecasts, inventory levels, and production capacity.
- Collaborating with production managers to prioritize work orders and allocate resources effectively.
- Monitoring production processes and finding opportunities for improvement to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Communicating with suppliers to coordinate material deliveries and ensure availability of required components.
- Analyzing production data and generating reports to track key performance indicators (important metrics) such as on-time delivery, inventory levels, and production efficiency.
- Implementing strategies to minimize production downtime and increase equipment utilization.
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards in all manufacturing processes.
**Qualifications**:
