MYTILINEOS, a leading industrial company with a strong international presence in two Sectors, Energy and Metallurgy, is currently seeking to hire a **SEE Project Development Manager based in Italy.**

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with developers in energy field
- Supporting the coordination of the Country Development Teams
- Attending meeting with local counterparts as well as TSO/DSO/Ministries/Agencies
- Implement expansion plans across the assigned territory in line with Company strategy
- Conduct discussions for the legal, technical and financial analysis of energy projects
- Coordinate with finance team for calculating and analyzing project returns of the projects
- Streamline and formulate robust legal/technical/commercial opinion for new projects/strategy with aim to ensure statutory adherence and mitigate organizational risk exposure
- Leading and supporting on a wide range of permitting procedures, permitting management, and reviewing the permitting documentation submitted to authorities to ensure conformity with laws and regulations.
- Interpreting laws, rulings, and regulations for the development procedure of energy projects.
- Monitoring legal and technical risks and compliance with obligations from permitting documents.
- Engaging with public authorities in relation to development matters.
- Ensures that technical and legal matters regarding the development process are fulfilled and delivered on time
- Determine appropriate points of interconnection with electric utility grid resources and determine interconnection feasibility, including easements for interconnecting lines
- Identify energy offtake opportunities and PPA RFPs, and prepare for biddings
- Support the finance team to set up financial modelling of projects with the goal of achieving a comprehensive and realistic financial expectations

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, related fields
- At least 6 years energy project development experience with successful track records
- Knowledge of renewable energy, utility, and market in SEE
- Knowledge of local renewable energy development rules and regulation including but not limited to solar/wind legislation and guidelines, tax issues
- Analytical skills to collate and generate reports for projects.
- Fluency in English is essential.
