**THE PROJECT**:
The _P.LE.A.S.E Project_ is a Mini-stay in England for middle and high school students. “_P.LE.A.S.E_” stands for “_Project for LEarning and Supporting Elegance_”, an innovative approach to school trips, which combines language learning with the strengthening of a set of important soft skills. Our aim is to help students learn the beauty of sharing rules and common practices which help us act in synergy with our peers and the world that surrounds us: to become young people aware of their own potential and of the great challenges that await them, able to begin imagining how to use their own talents in search for possible solutions for the community.

To expose the students to the English language and to real experiences and examples of best practices, we are selecting young professionals from diverse backgrounds to be Tour Leaders and representatives of our Tour Operator from the beginning of January to the end of April.

**WHERE**: Winchester, Romsey, Salisbury or York, UK

**PERIOD**: School year 2023-2024 - starting from 10th January 2024 - each ministay/assignment lasts 6 or 8 days

**YOU MUST**
- Be a mother-tongue or proficiency (C2) level speaker of English
- Be >18
- Embody the qualities of a strong-willed, motivated and prepared Tour Leader thanks to your previous experiences
- Preferably, have already worked with adolescents
- Have organisational and leadership skills and the ability to take on responsibility
- Good team-working abilities

**TASKS**

The Tour Leader/TELS Representative will accompany each group, leaving with them from Italy and flying with them to the UK and back. They will be in charge of making sure that all travel operations run smoothly, and they will help the students overcome any possible cultural shock that they might experience.

During the stay, the TELS Rep will be asked to:

- Lead the group of students and make sure that everything runs smoothly
- Introduce in English, supervise and participate in afternoon and evening activities
- Liase with the Italian office, keeping the staff updated on the trip and solving the problems which might arise
- Bond with the team of Italian teachers to make sure that each member of staff is working towards the success of the stay

**WHAT WE OFFER**:
Full board accommodation with a host family in England during the stay

Online training on the TELS Method

500 euros net/week for a 6-8 days stay

**THE PROJECT**:
We are currently running a study program in English for high school students, concerning the Agenda 2030 and its Sustainable Development Goals. Our aim is to help students become _sustainable citizens_: young people aware of their own potential and of the great challenges that await them, able to begin imagining how to use their own talents in search for possible solutions for the community.

To expose the students to the English language and to real experiences and examples of best practices, we are selecting young professionals from diverse backgrounds with a story to tell about the theme of sustainable development: experiences as volunteers; works with NGOs; studies in scientific fields focusing on green energy, sustainability, international relations, world politics or innovative economic models

- **TASKs**

A work rota of approximately 8-hr shifts will be organised, alternating the following tasks:

- English teaching using TELS educational resources

- Night watch (supervising corridors, etc)
