Job Description:
The Product Specialist, working asCustomer Journey Expert in Agile organization, has end-to-end responsibility for the development, management, harmonization and phasing out of Current Account product, related services, and processes focusing on distinctive customer experience, profitability and effective cost management E2E.The Product Specialistworks in a squad within ING's Agile organization, working together with other squad members to fulfill the purpose of the Tribe. He/She brings expertise in the areas of marketing, product management, process optimization, project management and testing.Key Responsibilities:
Working in Agile teams:
contributes actively to all events of the sprints by asking, answering and challenging. Acts as a moderator among the different departments. Enhances the way of working structurally. Ensures that strategic priorities are made.Continually assess the performance of the current account product KPIs, the regulatory landscape and external market trends and competitor developments to ensure the customer proposition as effective as possibleFully accountable for delivery of product revenue, profit and product-related customer satisfactionOwn, define, document and agree, with key stakeholders, a product plan that identifies:
the market landscape, product scope and performance, objectives and strategy, the customer experience.Create and own market requirements specifications and business cases for the product. Market and competitor understanding and analysis.Analyze and define business process flows in order todraft functional documents based on analysis and collected requirements, supporting users in requirements definitions identifying impacted areas and processes and finally execute tests.Accountable for product lifecycle management. This includes product performance management, product marketing and product innovation.Competencies:
Masters degree, postgraduate or equivalent background in Economics, Management Engineering and similars is desirable+3 years experience in Current account, Payments and related services. The job responsibilities include:
the entire product lifecycle management from conception and planning to design and launch activities (e.g. acquisition commercial campaigns, pricing management, regulatory impacts, ); working with the other squad members and stakeholders involved to achieve revenue and profit goals; creating the best user experience, identifying new potential business opportunities and improvements, taking into account internal and external regulation Interest and passion for banking sector and products, with particular understanding of the Current Account and payments market; benchmark and competitors overview is neededWell-developed communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to produce clear and concise presentation, papers and directly interact with top management and senior colleaguesStrong analytical capabilities and experience of monitoring and tracking financial performance and working dataAbility to lead complex projects and working effectively across functions, while managing stakeholders and governance requirementsSoft Skills:
