Our have unparalleled leadership positions in some of the most demanding and attractive industries and our technologies address a broad range of societal needs in the diagnostics, life sciences and environmental and applied solutions.We are currently looking for a Tax Manager in Italy.This position will be part of Danaher’s International Tax Team and will be responsible for providing tax support mainly for Danaher’s Italy operating and holding companies, including tax planning, tax governance, US and Italian GAAP tax accounting and reporting. The position will also work closely with operating companies to gain a full understanding of the businesses and help by providing advice and guidance necessary to ensure compliance with the relevant law, obtaining external advice where necessary.Key Responsibilities:
Lead Danaher’s Tax Governance in Italy according to Italian legislation (Mod 231)Handle the Tax compliance in coordination with Danaher Tax Compliance team. Maintain close contact with tax external advisers and run tax audits with Tax Authorities in accordance with corporate policies.Understand the activities of non-resident entities within the territory from a domestic PE perspective and the non-resident activities of the entities in the territory from an international PE perspectiveAssist our Operating Companies with taxmatters arising from operational planning e.g., establishing new entities, eliminating redundant entities, supply chain changesLiaison between Italian operating companies and Corporate TP team to support timely preparation of TP reportsSupport preparation of accounting consolidations in Southern Europe (Italy, Spain, France)Key requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field. Master's Degree or CPA is a plusMinimum 4 years of corporate tax experience in accounting firm and/or corporate industry, preferably a combination of bothWorking knowledge of US tax return preparation. General understanding of ASC740Proficient Italian and English is mandatoryExcellent communication skills, able to build excellent working relationships with cross-functional teamsAbility to work under pressure, manage multiple projects and adhere to deadlines with a strong sense of ownershipProven data analytics and problem-solving skillsWhen you join us, you’ll also be joining Danaher’s global organization, where 69,000 people wake up every day determined to help our customers win.
