Join Safelite as an **Auto Glass Technician Trainee**. This is the first step towards becoming a certified auto glass technician in a highly skilled team. We will train you to install and repair auto glass, calibrate car safety systems, and provide outstanding service that will be remembered. And yes, you will get paid while learning these skills

**As a Technician Trainee, you will**:

- Get paid to learn the Safelite way through hands-on and classroom training, which includes:

- Installing and repairing auto glass
- Calibrating automotive safety systems
- Providing additional services and products
- Study and pass tests to become a Safelite-certified Technician, showing proficiency in installations, having a positive attitude, and following taught techniques
- Safely operate a company vehicle and use company-issued tools throughout the workday

**What you'll get**:

- Competitive weekly pay starting at $19.75/hour, increasing to $21.50/hour after training and certification
- Earn $5 for each set of wiper blades added for customer safety
- Potential for promotion in your first year Pay starting at $24/hour as a Senior Technician and $27.25/hour as a Master Technician. Promotions are based on performance metrics that demonstrate efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction
- A benefits package valued at more than $10,000*, including a 401(k) plan with company matching, medical plans, paid time off, holidays, and volunteer days

**What you'll need**: (Don't worry if you don't meet all the requirements, we encourage you to apply)
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Valid state-issued driver's license
- Comfortable working outside in various weather conditions and on your feet for extended periods
- Ability to work scheduled days with flexibility in start and end times to accommodate customer needs
- Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds for short periods and occasionally at elevated heights
- High school diploma/GED/equivalent preferred; ability to read and write

**Base Pay Range Min - Max (in $USD)**:
$19.75 - $19.75- Benefit amounts are estimates only. Actual values will depend on benefit elections during enrollment._ _
