Hiring Accommodation Manager to work for a 4-Star property in Ireland.

We are looking for an Accommodation Manager to ensure the highest quality of room standards for our guests. You will ensure the hotels cleanliness standards are kept across all areas such as guest rooms, corridors, public areas, car park and our outside space, as well as having strong operational knowledge of the department, services provided and linen systems. You will promote a positive and results driven working environment within the department and assist in training and development of team members. The Accommodation Manager will check guest rooms, corridors and public areas on a daily basis, so they are always to the standards set by the Hotel.

**Responsibilities**:
Ensures guestrooms, public space and associated areas are cleaned according to operating standards.

Ensures compliance with all housekeeping policies, standards and procedures.

Initiates and maintains an effective inspection program including rooms; public areas; associate work and locker areas; storage areas; laundry areas.

Supervises and approves the budgeting and ordering of guestroom and cleaning supplies.

Ensures guest room status is communicated to the Front Office in a timely and efficient manner.

Maintains strong working relationship with Front Office to ensure effective communications for operational issues.

Empowers and trains the accommodation team to provide excellent customer service, and continuously strives to improve service performance.

Interacts with guests to obtain feedback on product quality and service levels; effectively responds to and handles guest problems and complaints.

Interviews and hires employees with the appropriate skills to meet the business needs of the operation.

Develops, implements and maintains a departmental induction program for new employees.

Communicates performance expectations in accordance with job descriptions for each position

Ensures disciplinary issues are reported to HR and dealt with in strictly in accordance with Hotel procedures

Ensures that regular on-going communication takes place with the team

Celebrates successes and publicly recognizes the contributions of team members.

Performs other duties as assigned to meet business needs.

Skills & Experience

1-2 years’ experience as Accommodation Manager/Assistant in a comparable property

Excellent organisation and communication skills

Previous experience using Hotsoft and Alkimii is a plus

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: €35,000.00 - €45,000.00 per year
