This is an interesting opportunity to be part to an innovative and multinational company, leader in the chimical sector.Spring Professional is looking for a Plant Cost Analyst to join the Controlling team.Responsibilities:
The Plant Cost Analyst partners with plant leadership, sourcing, supply chain by providing in-depth and high-quality financial analytics that lead to sound decision making. This role is also key to ensuring management reporting is accurate, timely and insightful. This role reports into the Plant Controller role.This role is used as a feeder for Plant Controller positions.Specifically, the work consists in:
1. Create Accurate Forecasts while managing clear, controlled Reporting and Analysis:
- Participates in financial planning, budgeting and forecasting processes for the segment;
- Monitors the monthly closing process in conjunction with the Accounting team;
- Provides in-depth analysis on variances to plan, forecast, and prior year;
- Provides risk analysis for contingency planning;2. Driving plant profitability and Capital Efficiency:
- Provide in-depth analysis on productivity drivers and link to KPI;
- Lead Other Cash Costs tracking to drive cost productivity:
- Support cost deployment process to identify new productivity projects;
- Validate actuals and forecasted savings in projects register, and identify contingency plans with the project leader;
- Track and improve CAPEX forecast accuracy and Capital efficiency ina timely manner;3. Communicate financial and business performance clearly and with impact
- Provide concise and effective communication of financial results in a timely manner;
- Work across organization boundaries and all levels of the company to achieve plant objectives;
- Shares best practices, i.e. process improvements, financial modeling and procedural changes;4. Lead an effective financial controls environment:
- Support process of ensuring that there is an effective and efficient system of internal controls, including data integrity, asset protection, segregation of duties, budgeting, financial reporting, information systems and adherence to corporate policies and governmental regulations (GAAP, SOX compliance, etc.);
- Leads the continuous sign off process to ensure that accountability for internal controls is clear and that processes are documented;
Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance;1-3 years'experience in financial planning and analysis in a manufacturing operation;knowledge of manufactoring costing principles;strong financial acumen demonstrated analytical ability;critical thinking, problem solving and decision making through analytics and data;ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization;understanding og and all ability to work within SOX control environment;computer skills - strong Microsoft Excel user;working knowledge of SAP;a fluent knowledge of English.Location:
Monza e Brianza (reachable only by car)Salary will be commensurate with experience.
