Decathlon Italy is currently embracing a business model transformation (From e-commerce to sport platform of products, services and experiences) and is looking for a UX writer and copywriter in Ecommerce domain to extend its growth and boost BM transformation.

You will be part of the Digital CX Team (Inside the Ecommerce team, under the responsibility of a Digital CX Leader) and you will contribute to the content optimization of our ecom platform Decathlon.it. You will be assisted in your daily job with a network of colleagues with different skill sets and backgrounds as well as 1 UX designer, 1 data analyst, 2 web analysts, seo/sea experts and several web marketers.

JOB PURPOSE

The UX Writer and Copywriter is responsible for writing texts for the Decathlon brand's digital channels, helps establish guidelines to ensure consistency across all types of content (e-commerce, apps, communication), and is the point of contact for activities related to translation flow in collaboration with Translation team (managed inside marketing & communication team).

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create performing and engaging seo-optimized texts for decathlon.it, Decathlon apps, in line with business objectives and customers needs
- Running A/B tests to test different copy variations
- Collaborate across departments to ensure a consistent tone of voice across different touch points (instore, online, ad hoc commercial campaign) creating performing and engaging copy for B2C market.
- Define digital content guidelines, in collaboration with Marketing and communication team & seo experts, understanding future brand plan and develop content requirements aligned to key business drives and brand initiatives.
- Conduct market analysis to identify new emerging trends and keep the content always updated.
- Analyses industry trends to create innovative new ideas around product content production and activation ideas.
- Contribute to create micro copy for internal newsletters that are aimed to communicate internal results
- Coordinate with an internal translator for copy translations from French/English to Italian.

SKILLS
- Strong copywriting skills, editorial and commercial.
- Knowledge of the digital and sport industry world
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to manage manage multiple writing and copy editing projects simultaneously
- Willingness to work in a team and flexibility
- Autonomous, creative and motivated
- Good organizational skills in management of projects deadlines.
- Positive and proactive attitude. Ability to give and receive feedback in a constructive manner
- Highly proficient in spoken and written both Italian and English, French knowledge is a plus.

EXPERIENCE
- At least 1-2 years of experience in UX writing for digital products, apps or websites (required)
- Previous experience working in ecommerce or software development organisations, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams (UX/UI designers, Dev, PM, Marketing...)
- Experience and/or good knowledge of usability and A/B testing to validate your hypotheses;
- Basic knowledge of design tools such as Figma or similar products.
