**We are looking for a European Program Buyer for our branch in Italy - Grugliasco headquarters.**

The Program Buyer is responsible for managing sourcing activities for applicable current and new programs.
This position requires a strong interface with our business units and manufacturing facilities located across Europe (Germany, France, UK, Italy, Spain, South Africa and Russia) along with all commodity buyers.

**Responsibilities**:

- Support the sourcing of externally supplied commodities by coordinating the flow of information between the program and the commodity procurement team and creating a sourcing calendar for all commodities that need external supplier identification
- BOM cost control for related programs
- Organize and conduct weekly CR/CN meetings with Commodity Purchasing team involved in sourcing activities
- Achieve material cost reduction in collaboration with commodity buyer to define technical optimization and business impact
- Support advanced RFQ phase with sales by sending RFQ to supply base and generating calculated BOM
- Management and maintenance of purchase orders
- Support operational functions in resolving supplier quality and logistics issues

**Qualifications and technical skills**:

- Business degree or combined engineering and business degree (or equivalent)
- Ideally technical background and/or purchasing experience (+2 years)
- Excellent communication skills
- Team-oriented and able to work independently
- Knowledge of English, a second foreign language is preferred
- Very good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project and Access)
