**New Product Introduction**

**MISSION**:
Analyze sales demand to prioritize and schedule the sourcing phase for strategic components. Responsible for managing all the activities and tasks related to projects workflow (PCA, ECR, ECN), accountable for project targets on cost investments and lead time.

**PROCESSES**:
**Project Management**
- Prioritize Commodity workload according to projects schedule and economic targets
- Schedules the sourcing phase for strategic components according to the project development timing
- Coordinates with R&D the early involvement of suppliers in the launch of new products and projects
- Track and report all purchasing activities related to supply readiness in the prototype and product launch phase

**Purchasing**
- Responsible for the negotiation process of the prototype components following Commodity strategies
- Collaborate with Plant Launch Management during the phase-in of the project

**Continuos Improvement**
- Promote the best practices and purchasing processes execution in adherence with the project-specific targets
- Can identify process optimization to drive the team and the stakeholder (internal and external) through the continuous improvement

**People Management**
- Coordinates local buyers ensuring constant info sharing on the project status and priorities

**KPI**:

- Target date of all purchasing activities related to project launch phase
- Target Project Cost (Proto and Series)
