Renewables Measurements Technician

Local Unit & Position Description:
Our department of measurements and tests in renewables with workshop close to Bari and office in Bologna is expanding the team and that is why we are looking for a
**measurements technician** to develop the following functions:
In the office/workshop (50% of the time):

- Preparation and configuration of the measurement systems (sensors, wiring, electrical cabinets, etc.)
- Management of the measurements systems at the workshop (cleaning, maintenance, calibration, storage)
- Purchase of measurement equipment, supplier relationships
- Coordination of projects with Project Mangers
- Remote assistance for ongoing measurements

On field (50% of the time):

- Installation, maintenance or dismantling of measurement systems in power plants sites around the world
- On-site testing

Additional tasks may Include:

- Technical report writing
- Analysis of data from measurements campaigns according to international standards and internal best practices
- Testing data monitoring

Position Qualifications:
For developing the above described tasks we are looking for technicians with the following profile:

- Academic level: Higher professional training in Electricity/Electronics (_Diploma Istituto Tecnico Industriale_)
- Proficiency in English
- Skills with computer equipment (hardware and software) - Microsoft Office tools
- Ability to perform electrical measurements with multimeter, oscilloscope and datalogger
- Availability to travel worldwide
- Availability to work at heights and confined spaces (wind turbine)
- Valid driving license

Preferred qualifications:

- Knowledge or experience in renewable energies
- Knowledge or experience in measurement technology of electrical, meteorological or mechanical loads parameters
- Vocation for order and clean work environment
- High motivation and proactive attitude

We offer a 1 year contract with option for a permanent contract at the end of successful period.

The position is based in Ruvo di Puglia (Bari) but frequent travels can be requested.
