Chiesi Research & Development

Our R&D team represents a fundamental asset for the business. It is divided into integrated functional areas focusing on pipeline projects including discovery and preclinical research, chemical manufacturing and controls, drug delivery technology, clinical development, regulatory affairs, pharmacovigilance, intellectual property, quality assurance, R&D project and portfolio management. Headquartered in the new purpose-built and fully integrated Research and Development Centre in Parma (Italy), the team also has important operations in Paris (France), Chippenham (UK), Cary (US), Stockholm (Sweden) and Toronto (Canada).

Who we are looking for

Purpose

PK and PK/PD modeling and simulation expert in the pre-clinical Pharmacokinetic, Biochemistry & Metabolism department

Main Responsibilities
Good interaction is requested with clinical departments in all the phases to refine drug projection, knowledge and propose input and hypotheses on protocol designs.

Experience Required

At leasr 3 years previous experience in Pharma with significant experience in the following areas: Pharmacokinetic or pharmacokinetic-pharmacodynamic modelling, physiologically based pharmacokinetic modelling

Education

3 years previous experience in Pharma with significant experience in the following areas: Pharmacokinetic or pharmacokinetic-pharmacodynamic modelling, physiologically based pharmacokinetic modelling

Languages

Italian

English

Technical Skills
Strong non-compartmental analysis experience
Experience using Phoenix WinNonlin or similar software to conduct non-compartmental and compartmental analysis.
Mathematical and statistical background
Mathematical modelling with experience in modelling biological data
Demonstrated understanding of the drug development process
Ability to interact and collaborate with scientists from various disciplines and functional areas
