Technical Instructor

**In a nutshell**:
The Technical Instructor is responsible for the development and delivery of technical training and assessment for Bystronic products (hardware and software) and services. The position holder will use their professional and didactic skills to present complex technical content in a comprehensible and target group-oriented manner.

The role will report directly to the Head of Training Cutting Cells and will be part of a global team responsible for the development of training policies and execution of training initiatives across all Competence training Centres and Regions.

**What you will be doing**:
**Training Delivery**:

- web and face-to-face training courses for our customers and service technicians on our systems, their components, software, and additional options;
- student performance against learning objectives to determine if they meet the criteria to pass courses, including production of assessment notes for participants and management.

**Training Development**:

- of blended-learning-oriented education and training courses;
- and maintenance of training materials and videos;
- management of development and training projects.

**Training Documentation**:

- in writing training documentation based on information from development and service, as well as own research;
- and maintain technical documents throughout the documentation lifecycle (such as installation instructions).

- the Global Training strategy to ensure that users are at the centre in terms of content development, scheduling, communication, delivery and feedback;

**Knowledge Retention and Recognition**:

- global Head of Training and team initiatives to develop, deliver and monitor the impact of continuous learning methodology to improve knowledge retention (microlearning, refreshers, job aids, etc.).
- Global Training initiatives to recognise, promote and incentivise learning with Service BU.

**Your education & experience**:

- Solid technical knowledge, passionate about teaching with strong presentation skills.
- Proficient in English
- Open to 10-50% travel
- Experience in training, technical documentation, and global team collaboration
- Previous work experience in the machine industry advantageous
