Team Overview and Job responsibilities
- The activity consists in performing test on raw material and final products to define typical chemical-physical properties. Here below a list of characterization techniques:
- Thermal analysis (for transition phase determination - melting / crystallization)-
- Mechanical analysis (elongation / strength / modulus vs temperature)-
- Chemical analysis (spectroscopy methods)-
- Sensitivity to environmental stresses evaluation (ex: humidity / heat / mechanical stresses)-
- Microscopy analysis (optical and electron microscopy)- Core responsibilities:
- Preparation of samples for characterization activity (by microextruder, micro press)-
- Test execution-
- Data collection-
- Data critical analysis (relationship between properties and process conditions)- Who are we looking for?- Degree in material science, chemistry, chemical and material engineering, CTF, biology-
- Attitude to deeply analyze different aspects of products (from raw materials to final products)-
- Passionate of laboratory activities-
- Attitude to study relationship between data and phenomena-
- Learning and adapting ability depending on problem solving needs-
