Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic
Department: Maintenance
What's in it for you?
- $22/hr
- Day Shift 8AM to 4PM
- Weekly attendance bonus of $120, $1500 Attendance Bonus upon hire.
- Full time hours
SUMMARY: Inspect, maintain and repair all mechanical/electrical equipment and surrounding facility with mínimal supervision.
QUALIFICATIONS to perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Follow all safety, food safety, & GMP rules and regulations.
- Install and dismantle machinery and equipment.
- Overhaul machinery by tearing down equipment and repairing or replacing damaged machine parts in a timely manner to maintain production efficiencies.
- Operate mechanical/electrical equipment to diagnose problems and determine repairs needed.
- The ability to care for and use all mechanical/electrical trade tools in the repair of equipment and structures.
- Perform a wide variety of general building maintenance repairs.
- Perform all general preventative maintenance duties such as greasing, oiling, etc.
- Good technical and critical thinking skills.
- Well versed in a broad spectrum of trades.
- Must provide own hand tools and tool box.
- Identify issues that he/she is not able to rectify and communicate them promptly to the Production Supervisor for assistance.
- All other duties as assigned.
