Porter

Job Overview:

- The role of the Porter is to work with the front office team to ensure excellent service for our guests. At the same time, carrying out techniques and high professional skills learnt in initial training, in compliance with our company philosophy, operating standards and procedures. He or she will help to develop a harmonious work atmosphere with a focused approach on collaboration.Responsibilities and duties:

- Will keep professional and ethical relationships with guests, suppliers and colleagues.
- Will take care of sorting bags and suitcases of arriving and departing guests, and when necessary, attach identification tags for guests.
- Will deliver messages, objects and more to the rooms in accordance with the instructions received from reception/concierge.
- Will run errands on behalf of guests in accordance with the instructions received from reception.
- Will manage the car parking as per specific procedure.
- Will constantly inspect shared areas and ensure that everything is always in order, clean and meets our quality standards;
- Will assist the gardening staff with some tasks, such as checking the cleanliness of the fireplaces (while in use), and tidying and sweeping the gravel in the courtyard.
- Will help in the setting up for events.
- Will assist the Reception department and Concierge, and when required the Housekeeping staff.
- Will proactively be involved in teamwork and cooperate with every co-worker.
- Will work in compliance with all hygiene, health and safety regulations
- Will correctly use and upkeep the equipment and materials supplied.
- Will implement all the information shared during training.
