Supervisor Pouring Area

**Job Description Summary**: At Avio Aero, a GE Aviation Business unit, we’ve been reimagining the power of flight for more than 100 years. We are specialized in the design, production and maintenance of components and systems for both the civil and military aviation.

Perform the daily operations of plants to ensure reliability and consistency on the production line; includes Service Shops. Impacts departmental operations and responsible for planning/execution. The role has some autonomy but is focused on execution of activities within an operating discipline covered by standard functional practices and procedures.

**Essential **Responsibilities**
- Manage an operation, business, unit, or part of a production facility in order to reach defined targets in quality, cost, delivery and safety
- Ensure continuous business improvement according to benchmarks and standards. Team management of salaried employees. This does not include production supervisors who oversee hourly employees
- Developing in-depth knowledge in a technical discipline. Uses the experience and technical skills acquired to put the policy/strategy into practice
- Deep understanding of key business drivers; uses this knowledge to carry out his task. Deep understanding of how your team integrates with others and contributes to the area
- Exercises a certain amount of judgment and is able to propose different solutions, outside of pre-established parameters, but with guidance. Uses experience and practical training to carry out clear tasks. Has access to technical skills and the ability to analytical reflection necessary to solve problems. May use multiple internal resources outside of own team to reach a decision
- A position at this level is likely to be a single contributor with proven interpersonal qualities or an early People Leader, capable of hiring and developing talent. Provides informal orientations to new team members

**Qualifications/Requirements**
- High School Technical Diploma with relevant experience in Global Supply Chain roles
- Previous and strong experience as a People Leader
- Proven experience in foundry processes
- Fluent in Italian and Basic English knowledge
- Work Visa in accordance with local regulation
