Planner/Scheduler - Data Centres - Milan - 12-months+

This is your opportunity to work for a global data centre operator that has been recognised for as one of fastest growing and well-known groups in the industry.

Having received significant investment, this established data centre group is in their next phase of growth and require the expertise of a Planner/Scheduler. They have established partnerships with many of the well-known technology powerhouses and tailor to their development to their client's requirements.

**Responsibilities**:
Responsible for validating schedules that have been provided by both internal & external site teams.
Contribute to the development of planning and sequencing of activities from concept through commissioning.
Define activities and associated scope, durations, logic, and interface between activities.
Review & collate benchmark data from projects across EMEA, to be used as standardised data during project conception.
Create, review, and analyse critical path schedules independently, in an efficient and comprehensive manner.
Develop comprehensive plans that communicate the programs, projects, and strategic goals.
Represent a realistic and feasible planning approach to the ever-evolving design program across EMEA.
Monitor schedule performance data, develop data analysis, and issue schedule reports required by management and project procedures.
Understand principles of cost estimating and productivity in establishing schedule parameters (duration, cost, and resource loading, etc.)
Investigate and incorporate project constraints in planning effort.
Perform Time Impact Analysis.
Work with senior leadership focusing on continuous improvement to our business processes.
Implement schedule health checks & perform Quantitative Schedule Risk Analysis as required. Job Requirements

**Requirements**:
Bachelor’s Degree in relevant discipline or equivalent combination of education and 5 years related experience
Data Center experience is strongly preferred, but not required.
Understand the Critical Path Method of scheduling theoretically and as it applies to projects.
Ability to understand and accurately interpret construction documents (drawings, specifications, contracts/general conditions) at all levels of design.
Expert knowledge of Primavera Scheduling Software (P6, latest Version).
Expert knowledge and extensive experience using Microsoft Office software tools, such as MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Word.
The amount of travel required is expected to be less than 20% but may increase over time as the business evolves.
